How do I maintain the torsion spring?
Start with inspecting the coils for damage. If you notice any deep scratches, chips or deformations, you should have the garage door spring checked and replaced timely. If there is hard and/or sticky dirt on and between the coils, clean them with mild and safe solvent. Apply lithium lubricant on all coils and run the door to ensure that it gets properly spread.
Are my garage door tracks prone to bending?
Tracks typically get bent as a result of an accident or malfunctioning of the door. Their risk of bending depends on several factors. These include the thickness and strength of the components. Additionally, if the tracks are at an optimal distance from the door and are tightly secured to the wall, the risk of bending is lower.
Why is my opener not working?
You should try to start it with the wall-mounted button to confirm that the problem is with the motor unit and not with the garage opener remote. If the device still does not start, our professionals recommend that thorough inspection is made. If you have to open the door, disconnect it from the electric operator and perform the task manually.
